Back in March, Kayleigh and Kara made the trip down to Maidstone to attend the awards ceremony. It was an exciting experience in itself—an opportunity to connect with other professionals in the pet industry and celebrate the incredible work being done across the UK.
The entire evening was truly inspirational. We were surrounded by so many incredible people and animals, each with their own story. From dedicated professionals to remarkable dogs that support and help others, it was a powerful reminder of the impact animals have on people’s lives every single day. Being in a room filled with so many worthy finalists made the experience even more meaningful.
Going into the evening, we were simply honoured to be nominated. Winning wasn’t something we expected—but it made the moment even more special.
When our names were announced, the shock quickly turned into pure excitement. It was a surreal and unforgettable experience that we will cherish for years to come.
