She’s made it a hatrick! On 19th October, Kara got the wonderful news that she had won Freestyle Stylist of the Year 2025 at the International Grooming Conference – Liz Paul Awards. Here’s what Kara had to say:
I’m still in complete shock… I’m beyond honoured to have won Freestyle Stylist of the Year 2025 at the International Grooming Conference – Liz Paul Awards. 
I honestly didn’t expect it standing alongside such incredibly talented groomers I admire so much. To even be nominated was special… to win? I’m truly overwhelmed with gratitude.
This year has been huge for me becoming a mum of two, navigating the beautiful chaos of family life, and still holding onto the passion I have for this industry. It hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve had the most amazing support from my partner, my parents, and the incredible community around me. 
To my beautiful FDM girls I’ve watched you grow in skill and confidence, and I couldn’t be prouder. Supporting you through competitions and helping you feel the same buzz and joy I get from the ring it’s one of the best parts of what I do. 
This award means the world because it represents more than just a win it’s proof that you can chase your dreams, even while being a busy mum, even when you’re tired, even when life feels full to the brim.
To everyone who voted for me, cheered me on, and believed in me thank you from the bottom of my heart. 
If I can inspire just one other groomer to keep going, to believe in themselves, or to know that motherhood doesn’t have to mean letting go of your passion then this award is even more special.
