Course Description

Since dog daycare and boarding licences were introduced through local authorities, it has become essential that all those working in the sector are suitably qualified.

Statutory guidance for higher standards of licensing, states that 1 member of full time permanent staff must hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.

This qualification has been designed to allow anyone with an interest or career plan to work in a dog daycare or dog boarding facility to gain the knowledge needed to safely and correctly maintain a dogs welfare whilst in your care. 

The focus is on ensuring all of the animal’s needs are met in line with legislation and best practice.

Gaining this qualification can help a dog daycare or boarding business gain a 5 star rating and is ideal for anyone currently working or looking to gain work in these types of business.

Course Breakdown

Course length: 3 days at FDM Academy or Online
